Not fighting for the victory, but it will be nice to try to stay with them.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cAt the end, we are working for that. Or a new van, I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Overall, the WorldSBK season is not panning out the way Montella expected, in fact it is going much better than planned.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cBut we are riders,\u201d the Italian reiterated.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWe are enjoying when we\u2019re winning.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cA podium is a podium. and fifth in a row.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"body\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Yari Montella scored his ninth podium of the 2026 season at the UK WorldSBK, strengthening his grip on third in the championship.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Montella now holds third place in the riders\u2019 standings by 21 points over Alex Lowes after taking his fifth consecutive third place in Race 1 at Donington.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Italian had been passed by Lowes, as well as his brother Sam Lowes, in the opening stages of the race, so it wasn\u2019t until mid-race that he was able to show his
