he nearly had a \u201cmassive\u201d crash during the MotoGP German Grand Prix sprint that would have been like Marco Bezzecchi\u2019s in qualifying.<\/p>\n<p>Aprilia\u2019s Marco Bezzecchi suffered a fractured left collarbone after a massive accident during Saturday morning\u2019s Q2 session, which has ruled him out of the German Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<div class=\"placeholder finished 18th in the sprint after starting from last on the grid.<\/p>\n<figure> <source massive, like Bezzecchi, but in a different corner,\u201d the Briton said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe handlebar touched the tank, came around that far, the handlebar touched the tank, and I closed my eyes down at Turn 12 &#8211; but going in, not coming out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI closed my eyes and thought, \u2018Right, well, that&#8217;s that,\u2019 and then suddenly I opened them and I&#8217;m still on the bike, so I thought best to carry on.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>\u201cWe completely gambled on a set-up\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Crutchlow believes he could have gotten closer to the battle for the But I couldn&#8217;t pass Maverick [Vinales] in the first five laps because we&#8217;re lacking some top-end speed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know this is not really a top-end speed circuit, but the top end of the acceleration of the bike in each gear, we\u2019re missing some.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut overall, I&#8217;m happy with my performance.
