able to \u2018steal\u2019 the Wimbledon title from Jannik Sinner, according to former Great Britain Davis Cup captain Leon Smith.<\/p>\n<p>The German has reached the final of the grass-court Grand Slam just weeks after winning his maiden major title at this year\u2019s French Open.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/alexander-zverev\">Zverev<\/a> has enjoyed a relatively straightforward route to the championship match, dropping just two sets throughout the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this year\u2019s edition, he had never advanced beyond the fourth round at Wimbledon.<\/p>\n<p>However, his toughest challenge awaits in the final, where he will face world No 1 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\">Sinner<\/a> for the 15th time.<\/p>\n<p>The Italian has dominated their recent rivalry, winning each of their last nine meetings to build a commanding 10-4 head-to-head advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Despite that record, Smith believes Zverev has the weapons to \u2018steal\u2019 the match and claim his second Grand Slam title in as many tournaments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Latest Tennis News<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a step up for him,\u201d said Smith during an interview on BBC Radio 5 Live.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019ve just gone through the ranking points, there is a reason for that deficit, and there is a reason for that head-to-head as well, so I think [Jannik] Sinner goes in, obviously as favourite.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut the one thing [Alexander] Zverev can do, he can serve unreal,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s serving amazing.
