But all I can think of right now is what my family went through in order for me to be able to be someone free.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn immigrant family out of Cuba. To be able to pursue my dream and be on the stage like this, represent with all the baldies around the world. This is priceless. There\u2019s no way I can say thank you. It comes after\u00a0re-credited Kesha on the song, following backlash after her name being removed from the 2013 video.<\/p>\n<p>Pitbull also paid tribute to his English \u201cbaldies\u201d with a cover of Oasis\u2018 \u2018Wonderwall\u2019, now a staple of England\u2019s World Cup games. \u201cBeing here I thought, what was the best way to represent you all,\u201d he explained. \u201cAnd a good friend of mine said, I think you should do this record. So, let\u2019s not just talk about it, let\u2019s do it\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BBC Radio 1 Breakfast presenter Greg James and TikTok creator Jack Remmington kickstarted the record-setting idea last year, after the latter posted a video suggesting the record should be attempted at BST, while James helped get Pitbull on board.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, one of the biggest crowds to wear bald caps at Pitbull\u2019s shows was at his sold-out shows at The O2 in London last year. Footage of the audiences soon went viral, and led to fans at other tour dates doing the same.<\/p>\n<p>The shows were as part of the\u00a0European leg of his \u2018Party After Dark Tour\u2019, where he was\u00a0joined by\u00a0Lil Jon.\u00a0On stage at The O2,\u00a0he addressed the crowd and thanked them\u00a0for getting dressed up for the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow I wanna say a special thank you to everybody who came out with bald caps here tonight,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s amazing to see, and it\u2019s amazing to feel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When Pitbull was confirmed for BST Hyde Park, he was also announced as part of the line-up for the\u00a0new Roundhay Festival in Leeds. Worldwide.\u00a0Ahead of his performance, concertgoers gathered by the main stage to be officially counted, and it was later confirmed that the record had been set at 22,141 bald cap wearers, So, let\u2019s not just talk about it, let\u2019s do it\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BBC Radio 1 Breakfast presenter Greg James and TikTok creator Jack Remmington kickstarted the record-setting idea last year, after the latter posted a video suggesting the record should be attempted at BST, while James helped get Pitbull on board.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, one of the biggest crowds to wear bald caps at Pitbull\u2019s shows was at his sold-out shows at The O2 in London last year. Footage of the audiences soon went viral, and led to fans at other tour dates doing the same.<\/p>\n<p>The shows were as part of the\u00a0European leg of his \u2018Party After Dark Tour\u2019, where he was\u00a0joined by\u00a0Lil Jon.\u00a0On stage at The O2,\u00a0he addressed the crowd and thanked them\u00a0for getting dressed up for the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow I wanna say a special thank you to everybody who came out with bald caps here tonight,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s amazing to see, and it\u2019s amazing to feel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When Pitbull was confirmed for BST Hyde Park, he was also announced as part of the line-up for the\u00a0new Roundhay Festival in Leeds.
