Zverev and Jannik Sinner confirmed their places in the Wimbledon final and they will battle it out to become the 2026 champion at SW19.<\/p>\n<p>Zverevc comprehensively defeated British wildcard Arthur Fery in the first match on Centre Court by a scoreline of 7-6, 6-2, 6-4 to make the Wimbledon final for the first time in his career.<\/p>\n<p>Sinner, meanwhile, produced one of his best performances for months to topple Novak Djokovic in straight sets to reach back-to-back finals at Wimbledon.<\/p>\n<p>Zverev and Sinner will meet on grass for the first time in their careers, but the German will head into the event with a very worrying head-to-head record.<\/p>\n<p>Sinner has won his last nine matches against Zverev and he will enter the Wimbledon final as the overwhelming favourite to win as a result.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/Pat-Cash\">Pat Cash<\/a> believes there is a chance <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/alexander-zverev\">Zverev<\/a> can win Wimbledon, if he follows a very strict game plan.<\/p>\n<h2>More Wimbledon news<\/h2>\n<p><a against Jannik Sinner at Wimbledon<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Speaking on BBC One\u2019s coverage of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/wimbledon\">Wimbledon<\/a>, the Australian said: \u201cThe head-to-head is just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\">Sinner<\/a> all over, he\u2019s just never found a solution. But on the grass, you do get more out of the serve. And Zverev\u2019s serve is absolutely phenomenal as we know.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s going to get a few more free points. I don\u2019t know if he\u2019s going to win, but if there\u2019s any way he\u2019s got a chance of breaking this hoodoo that Sinner\u2019s got over him, it\u2019s here. Because he\u2019s going to smash a few winners. He\u2019s going to have to be aggressive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe serve of Zverev, it comes down. That\u2019s where he really damaged <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/arthur-fery\">Fery<\/a> today. Even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/novak-djokovic\">Novak\u2019s<\/a> got a great serve, but it\u2019s a different ball game for Sinner on the grass. If he can just stay in touch. Zverev\u2019s tie-break record is unbelievable, he\u2019s the tie-break master.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGet to the tie-break of the first set and hope to pull it out to have a real chance. He doesn\u2019t want to be going down two sets to love to Sinner. Even one set to love for that matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Zverev has been impressive at Wimbledon so far this year, dropping just two sets en route to the final. The German will also be buoyed by his 2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/roland-garros\">Roland Garros<\/a> triumph, which saw him win the first Grand Slam title of his career at long last.<\/p>\n<p>However, Sinner\u2019s recent records speaks for itself, having claimed every Masters tournament on offer on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/ATP-Tour\">ATP Tour<\/a> so far.
