\n\tPeppa Pig is in the middle of some major beef \u2014 or should we say pork? \u2014 after seemingly shading Clairo in a new Pitchfork <\/em>interview, which has motivated Charli xcx and PinkPantheress to mobilize on the \u201cBags\u201d singer\u2019s behalf.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe hilarious \u201cdrama\u201d started Tuesday (July 7), when the cartoon character participated in the music publication\u2019s \u201cOver\/Under\u201d video series. When asked whether she thinks Clairo is over- or underrated, Peppa threw some bombastic side-eye at the camera and said pointedly, \u201cI don\u2019t know her.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tOf course, fans in the comments and online immediately clocked Peppa for the shady response, inciting Charli to join in and show her support for her fellow musician. \u201cLet\u2019s f\u2014 her up,\u201d Charli wrote alongside a screenshot of Peppa\u2019s comment in a text to Clairo, who shared the message on X.<\/p>\n

\n\tPinkPantheress got involved after seeing that Peppa had also spoken about her in the Pitchfork <\/em>video, declaring the \u201cStateside\u201d artist \u201cunderrated.\u201d \u201cDoes she like animals?\u201d Peppa had added. \u201cMaybe she would like me, because I\u2019m pink too. And everyone likes me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBut while the porcine protagonist\u2019s comments about her were positive, Pink loyally responded on X, \u201cain\u2019t sh\u2013 sweet until you put respect on clairo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIf you\u2019re wondering to yourself why Peppa Pig would diss Clairo, you may not have seen the singer\/songwriter\u2019s own \u201cOver\/Under\u201d episode in 2019. At the time, Clairo was asked to rate Peppa, and she said: \u201cCan I tell you something about Peppa Pig? She\u2019s 7\u20191\u2033 \u2026 she\u2019s the tallest pig in the world. I\u2019mma say underrated, just because I don\u2019t know any taller pigs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf she\u2019s 7\u20191\u2033, how tall is her mom?\u201d Clairo had continued at the time. \u201cHow tall are all the other pigs? Who\u2019s keeping track? What are the proportions of this whole show?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEven though Clairo said she was underrated, it\u2019s possible that Peppa interpreted her comment about her height as a jab and remembered it seven years later when it came time to make her own appearance on the Pitchfork <\/em>series.<\/p>\n

\n\tOr maybe Peppa was telling the truth and she actually doesn\u2019t know Clairo \u2014 although she is a fan of a lot of other singers. \u201cPop stars make the best music,\u201d Peppa added in her video. \u201cI like Rihanna, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, Sabrina Carpenter, Britney Spears, Olivia Rodrigo, Beyonc\u00e9, Cher, Dua Lipa \u2014 oh, and Shakira!
