Really happy with it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThat last race then, P6 again \u2013 been the story of my season, P6, but, after the weekend I\u2019ve had, to be a fourth and a sixth today, I\u2019ll take it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The final race saw Skinner run in sixth for a while. Skinner himself has often been the second-best Yamaha but has been unable to make an impression on the leaders so far.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">But the performances of Ray are a source of optimism for Skinner, who is still finding his feet after four rounds on the Yamaha.<\/p>\n<aside>\n<div class=\"block\">\n<div class=\"mpu-block\">\n<div class=\"mpu-title\"><span>Article continues below<\/span><span>ADVERTISEMENT<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<aside>\n<div class=\"block\">\n<div class=\"mpu-block\">\n<div class=\"mpu-title\"><span>Article continues below<\/span><span>ADVERTISEMENT<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cIt\u2019s ongoing I would say,\u201d Skinner said of his adaptation to the Yamaha, after a year apiece on BMW and Ducati machinery since returning to BSB in 2024.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cIt\u2019s obviously nice to see Brad [Ray] doing the job, obviously his win yesterday was well deserved and it fills me with confidence to see what he\u2019s doing on the bike, and it makes me work even harder than what I already am, if that\u2019s possible, to make sure I\u2019m on my A-game.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cBrad\u2019s been on [the Yamaha] for five years now, I\u2019ve been on it for three months, my guys have been working on it for three months as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cIt\u2019s a case of we\u2019re taking it step-by-step. We\u2019re getting closer, kind of consistently the second Yamaha to Brad which is nice.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cI don\u2019t want to be comparing to Brad because I\u2019m racing the rest of class=\"body\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Rory Skinner says he was ready to \u201cdrive home\u201d after crashing in Race 1 at the Snetterton BSB before bouncing back on Sunday with a recovery ride that
