Deer Valley Resort<\/a> in Utah is undergoing the largest ski resort expansion in history<\/a>, featuring an additional new lift called Hail Peak Express, located on a 200-acre expansion called Hail Peak. <\/strong>This new terrain expansion is scheduled to open in the 2026-27 ski season, expanding the resort\u2019s skiable acres to 4,500, and cementing it as the nation\u2019s sixth-largest ski destination by acreage. The lift will introduce seven runs, ranging from beginner to expert ability levels. The addition of Hail Peak Express adds direct lift services out of the East Village parking lot for the first time. Though the terrain pod sits on its own, from the top of the lift, skiers still need to ski down to the East Village base area to access the other parts of the mountain.<\/p>\n
