\n\tTriple Tigers Records co-president Kevin Herring<\/strong> is stepping down from his role at the label, effective immediately. Herring will continue to serve as a strategic advisor for an extended period, concentrating on A&R and overarching strategy for the label.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Nashville-based Triple Tigers Records was founded in 2016 by Sony Music Entertainment\u2019s The Orchard and Triple 8 Management. The label\u2019s current artist roster includes Russell Dickerson, Scotty McCreery, Shane Profitt and Ian Munsick. To date, the label has earned 33 RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications.<\/p>\n

    \n\tHerring joined Triple Tigers Records in 2017. Since launching his career in radio in 1981 at Detroit\u2019s WWWW-FM and then moving into promotion, Herring has held leadership roles at labels including Mercury, Disney\u2019s Lyric Street, Warner Music Nashville and Triple Tigers. Over the years, he has been instrumental in the careers of artists including Johnny Cash, Toby Keith, Shania Twain, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay, Ella Langley, Dickerson and McCreery.<\/p>\n

    \n\tHerring said in a statement, \u201cThis is the first step toward retirement for me. I\u2019m grateful for the chance to step back and play a support role that allows me more control of my own schedule, including more time with my wife and grandson, while still coaching staff and fostering artists\u2019 careers with Triple Tigers.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

    \n\tTriple 8\/Triple Tigers founding partner George Couri<\/strong> added, \u201cThis label has the best batting average of achieving radio No. 1s in country music history. That is because of the team that Kevin put together and led. We are so grateful he\u2019s agreed to stay on in this new capacity.\u201d<\/p>\n
