\n\tKelce\u2019s coach praised Sandler in an interview on CNN Sunday afternoon (July 5) \u2014 two days after seeing the bride and groom say \u201cI do\u201d \u2014 for doing a \u201cphenomenal job\u201d as officiant for their wedding ceremony. Reid also offered a glimpse at what the comedic actor told Swift and Kelce during the service.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe said, \u2018Kiss every chance you have, every day,’\u201d Reid said. \u201c\u2018Whether you\u2019re going to bed or going to work or, you know, wherever, go ahead and kiss her.\u2019 And I thought that was, in a simple way, in its simplest form, it really was touching.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tReid added of Swift and Kelce, \u201cI\u2019ve had a chance to see them grow together, and that\u2019s the most important thing, that there\u2019s a love there, a sincere love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cObviously, they\u2019re different people, from different worlds, but they\u2019ve come together to join hands, and they\u2019re really special together,\u201d the Chiefs coach said on CNN.<\/p>\n

\n\tSwift\u2019s rep confirmed that Sandler led the bride and groom\u2019s ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City Friday night (July 3), though no details about what he said were shared at the time.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Swift and Kelce exchanged vows, big screens on the exterior of the arena announced, \u201cJUST&T MARRIED!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBy Saturday, some tidbits about the couple\u2019s vows trickled in from guests who\u2019d attended the event. The vows, which Swift and Kelce wrote themselves, were \u201ceverything you would hope for \u2014 real, vulnerable, serious and silly, deeply loving,\u201d according to GMA<\/em> host George Stephanopoulos.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe vows were \u201clong, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing explorations by each as to how they met, why they want to be with each other for all eternity, the promises they made in joining their much-beloved two whole families (Kelce\u2019s and Swift\u2019s) as one, and committing to their new mutual life together,\u201d Adam Aron, CEO at AMC, recapped in a since-deleted social media post.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs of press time Sunday, those who weren\u2019t invited to the wedding still await the first look at Swift and Kelce on their big day. Swift wore a dress designed by Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Dior Women\u2019s, Men\u2019s and Haute Couture Collections; Anderson is also the founder\/designer of menswear brand JW Anderson.<\/p>\n

\n\tSandler has previously been connected to both Swift and Kelce.<\/p>\n

\n\tKelce had a cameo in Sandler\u2019s 2025 film Happy Gilmore 2<\/em>, while Swift\u2019s music has deep roots with Sandler and his daughters.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTaylor\u2019s so damn nice to my family and has always been,\u201d he said in an interview last year. \u201cShe\u2019s ridiculously nice to them and warm, and Travis is such a gentle, nice guy. Funny as hell. He\u2019s like the guys I grew up with.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSandler also gushed over the pop star in an appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce\u2019s New Heights <\/em>podcast in 2024, sharing, \u201cI love what she had to say \u2026 what she meant to young girls, what she means to women, what she means to guys doing the right thing in life \u2026 I do get nervous around Taylor Swift, because I don\u2019t want to f\u2014ing blow it for my kids and say something stupid.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSandler\u2019s favorite song by Swift is a sentimental track from Fearless<\/em> that she acclaimed singer-songwriter wrote for her mother, Andrea Swift, for the album\u2019s original release in 2008.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEverything [my two daughters] throw on I love, but one of the first ones they threw on when they were young was \u2018The Best Day,\u2019\u201d he told Billboard<\/em> in 2024. \u201cWe connected with that when the kids were young. Every album, we listen the first day it comes out. There\u2019s not a song they don\u2019t know every word to.\u201d<\/p>\n
