\n\tMotionless in White hits No. 1 on Billboard<\/em>\u2018s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart for the third time this year, reaching the summit of the July 4-dated tally with \u201cR.I.P.,\u201d featuring Skylar Grey.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the week ending June 25, \u201cR.I.P.\u201d drew 1.5 million chart-eligible streams and 188,000 radio audience impressions, and sold 1,000 in the United States, according to Luminate. That\u2019s after 400,000 streams and 1,000 sold June 17-18, following the song\u2019s June 17 release; it debuted at No. 17 on the June 27-dated ranking from that early activity.<\/p>\n

    \n\tMotionless in White now has three Hot Hard Rock Songs No. 1s, all in 2026 \u2014 no other act has more than one this year \u2014 with \u201cR.I.P.\u201d following \u201cAfraid of the Dark\u201d and \u201cPlaying God,\u201d the latter featuring Corey Taylor. Still, the band has been a steady a presence since the chart\u2019s 2020 inception, with a dozen entries before this year, including five top 10s.<\/p>\n

    \n\tAs for Grey, \u201cR.I.P.\u201d marks a return to No. 1 for the singer-songwriter as a recording artist, her first since Diddy-Dirty Money\u2019s \u201cComing Home,\u201d on which she\u2019s featured, topped Digital Song Sales in 2011. She also led the Billboard Hot 100 as a songwriter (then credited as Holly Brook) of Eminem\u2019s Rihanna-featuring \u201cLove the Way You Lie\u201d for seven weeks in 2010.<\/p>\n

    \n\tIt\u2019s Grey\u2019s first time on any ranking with a newly released song since 2024, when she charted collaborations with Eminem (\u201cTemporary\u201d) and Jelly Roll (\u201cPast Yesterday\u201d).<\/p>\n

    \n\tMotionless in White has three songs in the upper reaches of Hot Hard Rock Songs; below \u201cR.I.P.,\u201d \u201cAfraid of the Dark\u201d and \u201cPlaying God\u201d rank at Nos. 4 and 11, respectively. All three are on Decades<\/em>, Motionless in White\u2019s seventh studio album, due July 17. In addition to the Grey and Taylor team-ups, Decades<\/em> includes a guest spot from Dark Divine\u2019s Anthony Martinez, while Outlier appears on bonus track \u201cFight Like Hell.\u201d<\/p>\n
