CREDIT: Emma Toma<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vc_row_inner tdi_83 article-content-row vc_row vc_inner wpb_row td-pb-row\">\n<div class=\"vc_column_inner tdi_85  wpb_column vc_column_container tdc-inner-column td-pb-span12\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"td_block_wrap tdb_single_content tdi_86 td-pb-border-top td_block_template_2 td-post-content tagdiv-type\" data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_86\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p>Fat Dog have today (June 30) unveiled details of their new album, \u2018Cancel Me (I\u2019m Tired)\u2019 and have shared its propulsive new title track \u2013 check it out below.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"post-content-read-more\">\n<li><strong>READ MORE: Fat Dog on the cover and unleashed in America<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The track is the latest from the former <em>NME<\/em> Cover stars and\u00a0follows on from last month\u2019s release, \u2018Go Fuck Urself\u2018.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The band followed up their 2024 debut album \u2018WOOF.\u2019 with last summer\u2019s rowdy standalone singles, \u2018Peace Song\u2018 and \u2018Pray To That\u2019 before getting to work on the new album, which arrives on October 2 and you can pre-order it here.<\/p>\n<p>The new song is said to be inspired by John Lennon\u2019s \u2018How Do You Sleep\u2019, \u201ccombined with frontman [and] songwriter Joe Love imagining what Anatolian rock experimentalists Alt\u0131n G\u00fcn would sound like if they were under siege from a thumping club beat,\u201d a statement explained.<\/p>\n<p>The track affirms at the start:<i>\u201cIf you wanna cancel me\/Then go ahead and do it please,\u201d <\/i>and is \u201cthe sound of what happens when people push your buttons and your buttons start pushing back,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>The video was shot by director James Winstanley and sees the band trying to avoid getting cancelled on a night out in London\u2019s Soho. Watch it below:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad1 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"taboola-mid-article-title\">Recommended<\/h5>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Work on the latest album began after the band returned home from their US tour last year, which also saw frontman Joe Love get married in Las Vegas after proposing to his girlfriend in San Francisco. \u201cWe played a gig to two people in Vegas,\u201d Joe recalls, \u201cand then the next day I got married.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A statement added: \u201cAnd so, it was with depressed Elvis ringing in his ears that Joe got home and began work on the second Fat Dog album. I hear things from my friends who are in other groups, and there just seems to be constant animosity elsewhere,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe get these moments where everything lines up: sometimes, we all look at each other on stage, and quietly recognise that we\u2019re playing a really good gig. Dog have today (June 30) unveiled details of their new album, \u2018Cancel Me (I\u2019m Tired)\u2019 and have shared its propulsive new title track \u2013 check it out below.<\/p>\n<ul stars and\u00a0follows on from last month\u2019s release, \u2018Go Fuck Urself\u2018.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The band followed up their 2024 debut album \u2018WOOF.\u2019 with last summer\u2019s rowdy standalone singles, \u2018Peace Song\u2018 and \u2018Pray To That\u2019 before getting to work on the new album, which arrives on October 2 and you can pre-order it here.<\/p>\n<p>The new song is said to be inspired by John Lennon\u2019s \u2018How Do You Sleep\u2019, \u201ccombined with frontman [and] songwriter Joe Love imagining what Anatolian rock experimentalists Alt\u0131n G\u00fcn would sound like if they were under siege from a thumping club beat,\u201d a statement explained.<\/p>\n<p>The track affirms at the start:<i>\u201cIf you wanna cancel me\/Then go ahead and do it please,\u201d <\/i>and is \u201cthe sound of what happens when people push your buttons and your buttons start pushing back,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>The video was shot by director James Winstanley and sees the band trying to avoid getting cancelled on a night out in London\u2019s Soho. Watch it below:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad1 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"taboola-mid-article-title\">Recommended<\/h5>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Work on the latest album began after the band returned home from their US tour last year, which also saw frontman Joe Love get married in Las Vegas after proposing to his girlfriend in San Francisco. \u201cWe played a gig to two people in Vegas,\u201d Joe recalls, \u201cand then the next day I got married.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A statement added: \u201cAnd so, it was with depressed Elvis ringing in his ears that Joe got home and began work on the second Fat Dog album.
