Instagram launched Your Algorithm last year and has been introducing it to more areas of the app.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mobile ad-unit--has-placeholder ad-unit--display wp-block-tc-ads-ad-slot has-background has-gray-100-background-color\">\n<div class=\"ad-unit__ad\" id=\"us-tc-ros-mw-mid-center\" data-unitcode=\"us_tc_ros_mw_mid_center\" data-test=\"us_tc_ros_mw_mid_center\">\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--desktop ad-unit--native wp-block-tc-ads-ad-slot\">\n<div class=\"ad-unit__ad\" id=\"us-tc-ros-dt-native-midarticle\" data-unitcode=\"us_tc_ros_dt_native_midarticle\" data-test=\"us_tc_ros_dt_native_midarticle\">\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe want to evolve Your Algorithm from a setting to something that feels central to your experience on Instagram,\u201d Mosseri said. He also noted, \u201cSome of this is testing now, some is coming soon, some might not work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The examples in his post include one where pulling down in your Instagram feed eventually brings up the Your Algorithm menu, and another where swiping up from a Reel could bring up a similar customization prompt. A third shows buttons beneath each Reel to indicate whether or not\u00a0 you want to see more Reels like it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most popular comments on Mosseri\u2019s post all make the same request.
