It is a total disrespect to the folks who live on that road and a headache for the town to deal with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The View Between Villages\u2019 comes from Kahan\u2019s \u20182022\u2019 album \u2018Stick Season\u2018, and includes the lyric: \u201c<em>Past Alger Brook Road, I\u2019m over the bridge\/A minute from home, but I feel so far from it<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0Since it\u2019s release, some fans have taken to stealing it as a souvenir.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hate that because I put the road name in a song that some people have taken that as an invitation to disrupt the lives of the hardworking and kind folks who frequent it,\u201d Kahan said in a recent Instagram story.<\/p>\n<p>Kahan released his fourth studio album, \u2018The Great Divide\u2019, on April 24, and\u00a0has since announced a world tour to go alongside the new album. He plays around Australia and New Zealand in September and October, before heading to the UK and Ireland in November and then mainland Europe.
