Foos don\u2019t have the bells, whistles, pyro, or blockbuster special effects of other standard stadium acts, just tunes and banter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho\u2019d have thought that \u2018This Is A Call\u2019, \u2018For All the Cows\u2019 and \u2018Big Me\u2019 \u2013 written for their 1995 debut and for sweaty little rooms \u2013 would land like Queen\u00a0classics on this pitch?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey keep the backroom jam energy up by splicing a little Mot\u00f6rhead into the Metallica-meets-Sabbath\u00a0chug-along of \u2018No Son Of Mine\u2019 before bringing the vast venue in for a run of numbers on the B-stage, peaking with the tale of writing\u00a0Nirvana\u00a0B-side \u2018Marigold\u2019 on\u00a0Kurt Cobain\u2019s couch, and the tender \u2018Aurora\u2019 being dedicated to\u00a0the late, great Taylor Hawkins.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This summer, the band will also make festival appearances at Mad Cool\u00a0and\u00a0NOS Alive\u00a0festival. Favorite Toy\u2019 is a few more tracks of that depth away from being the most vital Foo Fighters record since 1997\u2019s \u2018The\u00a0Colour\u00a0and the Shape\u2019,\u201d we wrote. \u201cFor
