launch with a physical version<\/a> said that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/gta-6-physical-disc-in-december-insider-claims\">a proper physical edition with a disc will launch in December.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/business\/business-news\/grand-theft-auto-vi-digital-only-no-disc-rip-physical-media-1236629695\/\">The Rockstar Support asking for a disc-based version of Grand Theft Auto VI, stated, &#8216;You will be able to acquire a physical copy during the following months&#8217;.&#8221; This, the outlet insists, &#8220;is being misinterpreted&#8221; as evidence of a physical release.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve reached out to Take-Two for clarification.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a busy week for GTA 6-related news. Pre-orders went live in the week and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/gta-6-prices-confirmed\">we finally got a price, too<\/a>. But there was outrage around rumours there will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/grand-theft-auto-6-preorders-gta6-no-disc\">no disc in the physical edition<\/a>, only a download code, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/grand-theft-auto-6-physical-no-disc-experts\">a decision many think hints at wider plans to crush second-hand sales<\/a> and prompting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/gta-6-exciting-but-we-need-to-talk-about-game-owenership-fast\">a debate about game ownership<\/a>.
