Colour is muted, prints are broken up, and familiar eccentricities that you’d now expect from the brand are held just out of full focus, as if the clothes are being remembered rather than seen directly. What remains is Cuming’s instinct for contrast and play, but filtered through restraint: layered fabrics, tonal shifts, and details that feel slightly out of reach.

Cuming, who is based in Madrid since graduating from Central Saint Martins, has built his label outside the usual fashion system expectations, without relying on a traditional show in the calendar or anchoring himself to one of the main fashion capitals. Despite that, his work has become IYKYK within the industry, a label loved by editors and fashion insiders for its balance of playfulness, opulence and ease. Good design, and a sharp eye for it, rarely go unnoticed.

More fashion news this week…

Nothing comes between Hailey and SKIMS

Courtesy of SKIMS.

Pinterest moodboards, “Hailey Bieber outfit” searches and countless TikTok recreations have spent the last few years proving one thing: if Hailey wears it, everyone else soon follows.
