Pre-orders are now live, with two different versions of the game available. The standard version of <i>Grand Theft Auto 6<\/i> will set you back \u00a369.99 while the <i>Ultimate<\/i> edition is priced at \u00a389.99.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Anyone who buys the game before November 20 will get the Vintage Vice City Pack, \u201ca collection of items that flash back to when the neon burned brightest\u201d for free, alongside a free month of GTA+.<\/p>\n<p>However, several <i>Grand Theft Auto 6<\/i> features are only available if you buy the pricier edition of the game. \u201cThe <i>Grand Theft Auto 6: Ultimate Edition<\/i> amplifies the experience with an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia\u2019s story,\u201d Rockstar Games said yesterday (June 24) in a press release.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3951805\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3951805\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3951805\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Cover-Art-GTA.jpg\" alt=\"Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-order release date teaser\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1270\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3951805\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u2018Grand Theft Auto 6\u2019 cover art. These include mod shop Rideout Customs, which allows players to \u201ctransform vanilla vehicles into magnificent works of art\u201d and Sara\u2019s Unisex Hair Salon, which allows you to customise protagonists Jason and Lucia\u2019s appearances.<\/p>\n<p>Clothing store Stock 305, tattoo shop Electric Fang and One Eyed Willie\u2019s mod shop are also locked behind the <i>Ultimate<\/i> paywall.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad1 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"taboola-mid-article-title\">Recommended<\/h5>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI think its awful. There\u2019s a big difference between locking unique skins and vehicles behind a paywall and locking entire locations. It literally feels like a mini dlc being sold right from the start,\u201d one disgruntled fan wrote on Reddit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell that\u2019s really scummy and a red flag. Makes you question what else is going to be locked behind the Ultimate Edition and\/or microtransactions that they aren\u2019t telling us,\u201d added another. \u201cI don\u2019t know what to say.
