pilot color palettes, mechanical details and symbolic imagery

The lineup spans four product categories including a limited-quantity AirPods Max case, a grip stand, a metal chain phone strap and a magnetic wireless charger

All pieces are available now via the CASETiFY official online store and select retail locations across Japan

CASETiFY has launched a new Neon Genesis Evangelion collaboration collection, applying the franchise’s unit color palettes, mechanical detailing and iconic symbolism — including Human Instrumentality Project imagery — across a focused lineup of four tech accessories. The collection, which marks the brand’s second collaboration of 2026, is available now.

The design language across the collection is consistent and deliberate. Rather than using Neon Genesis Evangelion‘s visual identity as surface decoration, each piece is built around a specific layer of the franchise’s iconography. The color palette references the pilots and their units directly. Mechanical detailing gives the accessories a functional, hardware-adjacent quality that aligns with how Neon Genesis Evangelion itself approaches its mecha design. Symbolic elements drawn from the Human Instrumentality Project thread through the collection as secondary graphic details, rewarding viewers who know where to look.

The hero piece is the limited-quantity Evangelion Plug Suit Headphone Collectible Case for AirPods Max. The plug suit is one of Evangelion‘s most visually loaded references. The form-fitting interface suits worn by pilots Shinji, Rei and Asuka carry both functional meaning within the fiction and a decades-long footprint in fashion and cosplay culture. Translating that reference into an AirPods Max case is a specific, high-stakes product decision. The result is the collection’s most collectible entry by design as well as by its limited-quantity designation.

The Evangelion Apostle Collectible Grip Stand extends the collection’s range into antagonist territory. The Angels are Neon Genesis Evangelion‘s most visually abstract and formally inventive creations, and centering a grip stand on that imagery rather than the pilots or units is a considered secondary choice — one that gives the collection range without losing thematic coherence.

Rounding out the lineup are the Evangelion Apostle Metal Chain Phone Strap, which returns to Angel iconography as a wearable carry accessory, and the Evangelion A.T. Field Magnetic Wireless Charger. The A.T. Field reference on the charger is the collection’s most conceptually tight product-to-IP match. Within Neon Genesis Evangelion, the A.T. Field functions as both a barrier and an energy construct, making a wireless charger a genuinely apt object to attach that name to.

The Neon Genesis Evangelion x CASETiFY collection is available now via the CASETiFY official online store and at CASETiFY OSAKA Shinsaibashi, Sapporo PARCO, Shibuya PARCO, Ikebukuro PARCO, Shinjuku Marui, Lucua Osaka, Hiroshima PARCO, Amu Plaza Hakata, Nagoya Takashimaya Gate Tower Mall and NEWoMan Takanawa.

Related Stories

>The Atonemo x NTS Radio Player Streams Curated Mixtapes

>Nothing Shelves Next CMF Phone as RAM Costs Spike

We got you covered. pilot color palettes, mechanical details and symbolic imagery

We got you covered. pilot color palettes, mechanical details and symbolic imagery

Text By

Sophie Caraan

Editor Assistant

Thu Tran

    Neon Genesis EvangelionCasetify

[analyse_source url=”https://hypebeast.com/2026/6/neon-genesis-evangelion-casetify-2026-collaboration-collection-release-info”]

[analyse_image type=”featured” src=”https://image-cdn.hypb.st/https%3A%2F%2Fhypebeast.com%2Fimage%2F2026%2F06%2F17%2FtwNeon-Genesis-Evangelion-CASETiFY-2026-Collaboration-collection-Release-Info.jpg?w=1080&cbr=1&q=90&fit=max”] Tech & Gadgets Jun 17, 2026 17.9K Views 0 Comments Comments Save Text By Sophie Caraan Editor Assistant Thu Tran Share this article 1 of 7 Casetify 2 of 7 Casetify 3 of 7 Casetify 4 of 7 Casetify 5 of 7 Casetify 6 of 7 Casetify 7 of 7 Casetify Tech & […]

[2
226,39
post-2004266","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-politics","tag-crawlmanager","tag-hypebeast-com
["GET
