The revelation ends decades of intense fan speculation regarding the future of the multi-character comedy property. Known for portraying both the titular British secret agent and his legendary nemesis, Dr. Evil, Myers has frequently dropped playful, non-committal teasers during global media appearances over the years. However, this recent confirmation provides a firm indication that the creative team is officially working to bring the legacy characters back to the big screen.

While specific narrative elements remain tightly under wraps, prior industry discussions have hinted at potential concepts, including exploring storylines framed directly from the perspective of the franchise’s villains. Complete logistical details—including a finalized script, director attachments, studio distribution partnerships, and a prospective filming schedule—have not yet been publicized as early pre-production planning gets underway.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Trevor Noah (@trevornoah)

Related Stories

                                                                            >First Look at Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson’s New Comedy Series ‘Brothers’ Revealed

                                                                            >Ben Stiller to Direct New York Knicks Docuseries With A24 and HBO

                                                                            >‘The Grinch’ Live-Action Sequel in Development With Jim Carrey and Ron Howard

We got you covered.
