Remember when, during a 2023 episode of ESPN\u2019s \u201cNBA Today,\u201d Las Vegas Aces coach Becky Hammon infamously said Jalen Brunson was not a \u201c1A dude\u201d and that he was too small to be the leader of a championship-winning team?<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Brunson delivered his rebuttal from the podium at the New York Knicks\u2019 championship parade<\/a> ceremony, his finals MVP trophy in front of him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of people who have a lot of negative stuff to say,\u201d Brunson said. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of people who have their own opinions. But when you prove them wrong, you don\u2019t have to say s\u2013t to them. They don\u2019t deserve it.\u201d<\/p>\n
