The final Assassin’s Creed Shadows<\/a> content update will add one last chapter to the story of Naoe and Yasuke, a tough new challenge mode, and let you dress up as Edward Kenway from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Ubisoft previously confirmed it was calling time on Shadows after dwindling support in recent months and just one major post-launch expansion, and as Resynced’s arrival lies on the horizon, just a few weeks away.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, tomorrow’s update looks to be a sizable send-off, as the series’ Japan-set story wraps up for good with the arrival of a major Templar threat hunting Yasuke. Of the two protagonists, the samurai’s story was most in need of closure following the Naoe-focused Claws of Awaji add-on last year. A teaser released today suggests we’ll also get a little more Animus story, too, via a fresh rift.<\/p>\n
