As the saying goes, time flies when you\u2019re having fun. Though it\u2019s been a little more than two years since Greg returned to Singletracks as Managing Editor, it seems like it was just yesterday that we were welcoming him back. Now, he\u2019s moving on again, this time to hit the road full-time on a never-ending, around-the-world adventure.<\/p>\n

All the trails, all the time<\/h2>\n

As Singletracks\u2019 Managing Editor, Greg covered trail news and mountain bike destination<\/a> features, keeping readers in the loop on the latest developments and introducing them to under-the-radar gems across the US and around the world. His article about reroutes along the Arizona Trail due to increased side-by-side traffic<\/a> was among the most popular Singletracks articles published this year. And this article about an ambitious trail build in Texas<\/a>, also published this year, wasn\u2019t far behind in views.<\/p>\n

Greg has traveled extensively during his time at Singletracks, covering some of the best mountain bike destinations in North America, including Quebec City, Canada; Kingdom Trails in Vermont; Sault Ste. Marie, Canada; and New York\u2019s Adirondack Mountains. He recently returned from a week in another up-and-coming mountain bike destination \u2014 Payson, Arizona \u2014 so be sure to look out for his coverage this summer. Outside North America, Greg spent a couple of months in New Zealand in 2025 and shared his ride along the Old Ghost Road<\/a> with us.<\/p>\n

The trail ahead<\/h2>\n

This month, Greg plans to bikepack the 500-mile+ Colorado Trail end to end, starting in his current hometown of Durango. Then he\u2019ll hit the road in his fully outfitted camper van, bound for the Northeastern US, where he hopes to check off visits to the last of the US states he hasn\u2019t yet visited. Winter in the Andes and Central America is on the docket after that, with a bike tour of Europe planned for next summer.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re stoked for Greg, though we \u2014 along with Singletracks readers \u2014 will certainly miss his contributions. Happy trails, Greg!<\/p>\n
