action when Nintendo Switch Sports Resort comes to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/platforms\/switch-2\">Switch 2<\/a> on 22nd October.<\/p>\n<p>We first visited Wuhu Island back in 2007&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/wii-fit\">Wii Fit<\/a>, and it&#8217;s returned on numerous occasions since then, appearing in the likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/mario-kart-7\">Mario Kart 7<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/wii-party\">Wii Party<\/a>, Smash Bros. Ultimate, and even 3DS game Pilotwings Resort. Most notably, though, it provided the setting for 2009&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/wii-sports\">Wii Sports<\/a> follow-up Wii Sports Resort. And Nintendo has confirmed a total of 12 sports, with returning activities like boxing, table tennis, archery, tennis, volleyball, bowling, basketball, golf and thumb wrestling joining newcomers skateboarding, power cruising, and prop plane flying.
