Dragon\u2019s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, an expanded version of Dragon\u2019s Dogma 2, has been announced as part of today\u2019s Nintendo Direct<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Carrying the same name as the expanded version of the original Dragon\u2019s Dogma, Dark Arisen brings Capcom\u2019s 2024 RPG to Nintendo Switch 2. It will allow you to not only explore the world of the sequel, but also the new snowy region of Norgan. <\/p>\n

A new system will also allow you to seek out spoils and \u201cappraise\u201d them, which will unlock new weapons, armor, and skills. <\/p>\n

Dragon\u2019s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 9, 2026. The Dark Arisen content will also come to PC, Xbox Series X\/S, and PlayStation 5 as DLC. <\/p>\n

After a long wait, Capcom’s cult medieval fantasy RPG got a sequel in 2024. Dragon’s Dogma 2<\/a> was well recieved, earning 8\/10 in our review<\/a>. As with the original version, Switch 2 players will be able to explore an open world filled with massive monsters as they attempt to fulfil their quest of killing the dragon who stole their heart. While it is a single-player game, you can explore the world accompanied by computer-controlled “pawns” that are created by other players and shared online. <\/p>\n
