This afternoon, at the very agreeable time of 3pm UK, Nintendo will broadcast a Direct showcase showing us what it&#8217;s got for Switch and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/platforms\/switch-2\">Switch 2<\/a> in the weeks and months ahead. And we&#8217;ll be covering all of the news and announcements live, as they happen, right here in this article.<\/p>\n<p>Nintendo has said the Direct will last approximately 50 minutes and that there&#8217;ll be a 95-minute Treehouse presentation immediately after it, featuring gameplay from some of the announced games. But what is Nintendo going to announce?<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s no official guidance here, just speculation, and speculation has been particularly strong around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/all-new-star-fox-and-zelda-ocarina-of-time-remake-reportedly-set-for-switch-2-release-this-year\">a remake of one of the most treasured Zelda adventures, Ocarina of Time<\/a>. Will we see that? We&#8217;ve also been awaiting a release date for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/nintendo-reveals-new-fire-emblem-game-coming-to-switch-2\">the new Fire Emblem game, Fortune&#8217;s Weave<\/a> &#8211; supposedly due this year &#8211; so I expect we might finally get that.<\/p>\n<p>I hope we see more of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/the-duskbloods-elden-ring-switch-2-2026\">FromSoftware&#8217;s Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods<\/a> as well.
