That&#8217;s five million units sold in a couple of years, and with Wilds taking the spotlight more recently. As a reminder, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/monster-hunter-rise\">Monster Hunter Rise<\/a>, which became big enough to escape its initial Switch 1 exclusivity, has also been keeping folks busy since 2021, so that&#8217;s three different modern Monster Hunter games attracting millions of players at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>The news arrives after further confirmation that Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata have been hits which have helped Capcom have its &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/capcom-financial-record-breaking-resident-evil-requiem\">ninth consecutive year of record profits<\/a>&#8221; despite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/monster-hunter-wilds-sales-have-plummeted-lagging-behind-even-the-last-games-dlc-and-a-two-year-old-street-fighter-game\">Wilds&#8217; late-2025 financial slowdown<\/a> due to its aforementioned issues.<\/p>\n<p>For now, Capcom remains committed to Wilds&#8217; future, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/monster-hunter-wilds-nintendo-switch-2\">an ambitious Nintendo Switch 2 port is officially in the works<\/a>.
