The only thing we know for sure is the Gears of War prequel E-Day will have a dedicated deep-dive segment after the main showcase, which is something Microsoft has done for other games in the recent past.<\/p>\n<p>We also know from an Xbox Podcast (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/xbox-showcase-wont-have-next-gen-helix-news\/\">GameSpot<\/a>) that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/project-helix-dev-kits-not-going-out-until-2027-and-other-new-details-on-xboxs-next-gen-console\">Microsoft&#8217;s next-gen Xbox console Project Helix<\/a> definitely won&#8217;t feature &#8211; <em>boo hiss! <\/em>&#8220;The focus here is on the games,&#8221; Microsoft Studios boss Matt Booty said. &#8220;There won\u2019t be Helix news. Helix will not be in this showcase. We want to get everything about that right.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"injection_placeholder\" data-position=\"1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, today&#8217;s show is a big moment for new Xbox leader Asha Sharma, who&#8217;s spent months telling everyone she&#8217;s going to &#8220;reset&#8221; the Xbox division and make the console a more aggressive contender again. Today&#8217;s her chance to solidify that message and convince a core gaming crowd. But how will she do that?<\/p>\n<p>Games, naturally, will be at the heart of it, and to that end I think we&#8217;re likely to see more of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/heres-a-fresh-look-at-clockwork-revolution-coming-in-due-time\">inXile&#8217;s promising time-beding RPG Clockwork Revolution<\/a>, and maybe get a release date for it. We&#8217;re probably going to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/state-of-decay-3-reveal-trailer-wasnt-reflective-of-actual-game-says-studio-head\">see more of zombie survival game State of Decay 3<\/a> &#8211; and maybe some actual gameplay this time &#8211; and there&#8217;s a rumour going around that Toys for Bob is rebooting Spyro, so might we see that here as well?<\/p>\n<p>What of the big-guns, though? I wonder if it&#8217;s time for Bethesda to wheel out The Elder Scrolls 6 cannon and end the showcase with an almighty bang &#8211; it&#8217;s been long enough since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/starfield-main-story-walkthrough-9352\">Starfield<\/a> now that it makes sense. And is it also time for a glimpse at the Blade game Arkane is working on?
