The summer season at Tamarack Resort<\/a>, Idaho, is off to a rough start.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A heavy windstorm that saw 70-plus mile-per-hour winds ripped through western Idaho near Boise last week, damaging one of the Tamarack Express lift\u2019s towers at the Tamarack Resort in Donnelly, Idaho. <\/strong>After working with the lift\u2019s manufacturer, the Tamarack Resort team determined it would need to replace the tower, putting the Tamarack Express lift out of commission for multiple weeks.<\/p>\n

The resort has already begun to repair the lift, with the replacement arriving on June 1. <\/strong>It is estimated that installation will take between 3 and 5 weeks, after which it will undergo final inspection and certification before reopening. The resort hopes to have the Tamarack Express spinning again by late June or mid-July.<\/p>\n
