The ABC broadcast of Game 1 showed Brunson in a heated exchange with a fan near the court with about 20 seconds left, and Brunson appeared to re-engage with him after the game was over.<\/p>\n<div id=\"top-league-content-root\"><\/div>\n<p>    {&#8220;endpoint&#8221;:&#8221;https:\/\/api-prd-nyt.theathletic.com\/graphql&#8221;}<\/p>\n<p>The Knicks won, 105-95, and Brunson finished with 30 points.<\/p>\n<p>NBA commissioner Adam Silver on Thursday confirmed the league\u2019s investigation into the incident between a fan and Brunson, saying that the behavior inside Frost Bank Center for Game 1 is \u201cnothing new in the league,\u201d and said all NBA arenas have heightened surveillance capabilities that allow league security to get to the bottom of fan-related incidents almost instantly.<\/p>\n<p>Asked on Thursday about the interaction, Brunson said, \u201cI\u2019m not touching that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brunson did, however, have something to say when asked a question that alluded to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/7333348\/2026\/06\/04\/knicks-nba-finals-ticket-prices-madison-square-garden\/\">exorbitant ticket prices on the secondary market for finals games in New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Asked by a reporter what he would spend $7,500 to see \u2014 that\u2019s the quoted price of a ticket to Game 3 Monday in Madison Square Garden \u2014 Brunson said: \u201cA live Michael Jackson performance.
