Ahead of her third album release, Peters embarked on a theater tour of Australia which included a \u201cmagical\u201d duet at Forum Melbourne with Ed Sheeran, when the pair sang\u00a0\u201cCastle On The Hill.\u201d The last time the pair shared a stage in these parts was when Peters opened for Sheeran in 2023, for the domestic stadium leg of his record-breaking\u00a0\u2013 = \u00f7 x Tour\u00a0<\/em>(pronounced\u00a0\u201cThe Mathematics Tour\u201d).<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso new to the ARIA Chart, published Friday, May 25, is Hands Like Houses\u2019 sixth studio album, Lotus<\/em> (Orchard). It\u2019s new at No. 5. Hailing from the nation\u2019s capital, Canberra, the rockers reached No. 51 in 2023 with Unimagine<\/em>, No. 7 in 2016 with Dissonants<\/em>, No. 4 in 2018 with Anon<\/em>, and last year went to No. 36 with Atmospherics<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tClose behind is Adelaide\u2019s Aleksiah with Good Paper<\/em> (Chugg\/MGM), new at No. 7. That\u2019s Aleksiah\u2019s first appearance on the official chart.<\/p>\n

\n\tKingswood motors to a fifth top 50 album with Midnight Mavericks<\/em> (ABC\/Orchard). It\u2019s new at No. 23. The Melbourne rock act has impacted the national chart with all their albums, including a No. 6 best for 2014\u2019s Microscopic Wars<\/em>, No. 10 for 2017\u2019s After Hours, Close To Dawn<\/em>, No. 14 for 2020\u2019s Juveniles<\/em>, and No. 15 for 2023\u2019s Home<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tOver on the ARIA Singles Chart, Olivia Rodrigo makes it two in a row as \u201cThe Cure\u201d (Interscope\/Universal) opens it\u2019s account at No. 1. The U.S. pop phenom topped the ARIA Chart in late April with \u201cDrop Dead,\u201d which improves 23-9 on the latest frame. Both singles are housed on her upcoming third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love<\/em>, due out June 12.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Chemical Brothers are all go<\/em> on the fresh frame, with a little help from the Netflix film Apex<\/em>. The British electronic duo\u2019s 2015 track \u201cGo\u201d (Virgin\/EMI) improves 14-11, following its sync in the Charlize Theron-starring thriller, which was shot in Australia. That\u2019s a new chart high for \u201cGo,\u201d which originally peaked at No. 56 following its release.<\/p>\n

\n\tFinally, G Flip debuts at No. 48 with \u201cBed On Fire\u201d (AWAL), for their first entry on the main top 50 singles tally. \u201cBed On Fire\u201d is housed on G Flip\u2019s third studio album Dream Ride<\/em>, which peaked at No 4 on the ARIA Chart last year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
