\n\tThe Australian singer, songwriter and co-founder of award-winning electronic duo Peking Duk isn\u2019t against the idea of following in Delta\u2019s footsteps and representing Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest.<\/p>\n

\n\tHoliday (real name: Adam Hyde) stopped by Triple M\u2019s \u201cMick In The Morning\u201d on Wednesday, May 27 for a chat with co-hosts Mick Molloy,\u00a0Rosie Walton,\u00a0and\u00a0Nick Riewoldt. <\/p>\n

\n\tWhile on air, funnyman Molloy pitched the idea of Holiday throwing his hat into the glittery ring that is Eurovision. \u201cI had a fever dream the other day,\u201d Molloy remarked, \u201cyou would win us Eurovision.\u201d He continued, \u201cit\u2019s possibly of no interest to you\u2026 it\u2019d be incredible. You go there and do that (\u201cDancing2\u201d dance), and they would lose their minds.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGoodrem is a hard act to follow. With her performance of \u201cEclipse\u201d earlier this month at Wiener Stadthalle, Austria, Australia placed fourth overall \u2014 the country\u2019s second-highest finish in the contest\u2019s history, behind only Dami Im\u2019s runner-up effort a decade earlier, in 2016. Bulgaria will host Eurovision 2027 after DARA won in Vienna with \u201cBangaranga.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHoliday is flying high right now, thanks to his viral hit \u201cDancing2,\u201d song of the year winner at the 2025 ARIA Awards. Its parent album, Capital Fiction<\/em>, opened\u00a0at No. 3\u00a0on the all-genres ARIA Albums Chart in February, and topped the national Australian albums tally. The Canberra-based artist supported the record with a national tour in March that went deep into regional Australia, and headed abroad with his first-ever run of dates in\u00a0North America. <\/p>\n

\n\tThat\u2019s where Holiday was, briefly, grounded.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs previously reported, Holiday says he was denied re-entry into the United States during that trek, forcing him to cancel a planned New York City performance and return home early. \u201cUnfortunately I\u2019m not going to make it to tonight\u2019s show at Baby\u2019s All Right in NYC,\u201d Holiday wrote on Instagram in March. \u201cI have spent all day detained at the Canadian border and denied entry back into the U.S. despite having the proper visa documentation in place.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking this week on breakfast radio, Holiday said he can\u2019t wait to get back. \u201cI was meant to go to Ol\u2019 Mates [a pub connected to Aussie comedians Hamish Blake\u00a0and\u00a0Andy Lee], I was going to do a surprise set there and have a bunch of fun with a bunch of people,\u201d he remarked. \u201cI\u2019m not at liberty to discuss such matters fully at this time\u2026\u00a0(laughs)\u2026 but what I will say, is that I love the United States. I\u2019m gutted I couldn\u2019t do the New York City show, and I hope to get back there soon because there is a lot of people wanting a Keli Holliday show, but I want to bring it to them, so we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Keli Holiday experience continues with tour dates Down Under, followed by shows in the United Kingdom and Europe through June. <\/p>\n
