Jim\u00e9nez died tragically in a plane crash this past January at the age of 34. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe spent months where we were very close. Talking about him is really tough. The song is beautiful and everything, but yeah, that guy is sorely missed,\u201d said Maluma, unable to hold back tears. \u201cLife goes by in a flash, you know? You think about that guy, and it feels unreal, it feels unreal.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHe also spoke about how his relationship with fame has changed \u2014 \u201cToday I prefer to be at peace in my home,\u201d he said \u2014 and about prioritizing his mental health after feeling overwhelmed at the end of his last tour. He admitted that if he hadn\u2019t taken a break, \u201csomething bad\u201d might have happened. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cLife isn\u2019t just music,\u201d he expressed. \u201cLife isn\u2019t just fans, autographs [\u2026] life isn\u2019t TikTok or Instagram.
