\n\tFifteen years after The Book of Mormon<\/em> swept the Tonys, the show\u2019s original cast will reunite to perform at the 2026 Tony Awards. The performance will include nominees Josh Gad, Andrew Rannells and Rory O\u2019Malley, and Tony winner Nikki M. James.\u00a0It will be introduced by Tony winners Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez, who collaborated on the music, lyrics and book for the show.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 79th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by P!nk, will be held on Sunday, June 7, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast year\u2019s Tony Awards included a 10th anniversary performance by the original cast of Hamilton<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Book of Mormon<\/em> won nine Tony Awards, including best musical. The cast album, released on Ghostlight Records, also won the Grammy for best musical theater album. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tIn keeping with tradition, Broadway\u2019s biggest night will also feature performances from all four nominees for best musical \u2014 The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon!, Titan\u00edque <\/em>and Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) <\/em>\u2014 and all three nominees for best revival of a musical (CATS: The Jellicle Ball, Ragtime <\/em>and Richard O\u2019Brien\u2019s The Rocky Horror Show).<\/em><\/p>\n

\n\tA release announcing The Book of Mormon<\/em> performance promised \u201cadditional performances will be announced in the coming week.\u201d That is expected to include the announcement of a performance by P!nk, who is likely to sing one or more Broadway songs to establish her credentials as the show\u2019s host. P!nk is the biggest pop star ever to host to the Tonys, though she has yet to perform on Broadway.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe American Theatre Wing\u2019s Tony Awards will broadcast live coast-to-coast on CBS and stream on Paramount+ from 8 to 11 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrior to the broadcast, Laura Benanti and Tituss Burgess will host The Tony Awards: Act One<\/em>, a live pre-show that is available to viewers for free on Pluto TV. It will run from 6:35 to 8 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Tony Awards are produced in collaboration with Tony Award Productions, a joint venture of the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League. Raj Kapoor, Sarah Levine Hall and Jack Sussman are executive producers of this year\u2019s show. Kapoor and Levine Hall will also serve as co-showrunners. Patrick Menton and Rob Paine will co-executive produce with Menton also serving as head of talent.<\/p>\n
