chances at Roland Garros this year have been buoyed by Carlos Alcaraz\u2019s withdrawal, but that still might not be enough due to Jannik Sinner\u2019s form.<\/p>\n<p>The 24-time Grand Slam champion will be the third seed at the Paris Grand Slam, behind only Sinner and Alexander Zverev, but he will be hoping he is drawn on the otherside of the draw to the Italian.<\/p>\n<p>Djokovic has won Roland Garros on three occasions, in 2016, 2021, and 2023, but many pundits believe the French Grand Slam as his worst chance to win a 25th major out of all four of the main events in tennis.<\/p>\n<p>That will not deter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/novak-djokovic\">Djokovic<\/a>, however, as his mentality has always been one of his strongest aspects and the key reason why he was able to demanding\u2019 as he becomes his new coach<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PDQQpt1HrfY&amp;t=1230s\" target=\"_blank\">Inside-In Tennis Podcast<\/a>, Shelby Rogers believes Djokovic needs to think about his own path through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/roland-garros\">Roland Garros<\/a>, rather than worry about withdrawals and who he might face.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this point in Novak\u2019s career, I think he\u2019s got a very clear idea of what he wanted to try to do this year, and that\u2019s obvious by his choice of scheduling and tournaments he\u2019s playing,\u201d said the American.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd so, I think with players in the draw or not, his approach does doesn\u2019t necessarily change. His draw and his matchups will, and I think that might be a little bit of relief for him, but he\u2019s going to take control and control what he can, and his approach is going to stay the same.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rogers believes muscle memory could play a key part for Djokovic, who has lifted more major tournaments than anyone else in the Open Era.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has been out there doing this for the longest over anyone,\u201d explained the former World No. 30. \u201cAnd so, I think to give himself the best chance, he\u2019s got to tune out the noise, which he\u2019s so good at doing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s done it his whole career in the shadow of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/roger-federer\">Federer<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/rafael-nadal\">Rafa<\/a> and pretty much everyone, and he\u2019s made a name for himself. And so, to your question, I think no, it doesn\u2019t change his approach, but he\u2019s probably not mad about it.
