dominated the landscape of tennis for over two years by now, but they still get annoyed at the sport they rarely lose at.<\/p>\n<p>Sinner and Alcaraz have shared the last nine Grand Slam titles, dating back to the 2023 US Open, when Novak Djokovic lifted the title at Flushing Meadows.<\/p>\n<p>Despite their dominance in the sport, the best two players in the world still have little things that irk them during their matches.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@bleacherreport\/video\/7641985431176858910?lang=en-GB\" target=\"_blank\">Bleacher Report<\/a> asked several top tennis stars what their biggest \u2018pet peeves\u2019 in tennis were and the best two players on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/ATP-Tour\">ATP Tour<\/a> rhythm at French Open<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For World No. 1 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\">Sinner<\/a>, it simply came down to playing in a certain type of weather. \u201cPlaying tennis when it\u2019s very windy,\u201d explained the Italian.<\/p>\n<p>Despite his pet peeve of playing in windy conditions, Sinner has, unsurprisingly, never truly struggled when wind speeds have reached great force.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, Sinner defeated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/carlos-alcaraz\">Alcaraz<\/a> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/monte-carlo-masters\">Monte Carlo Masters<\/a> final in difficult windy conditions, which earned him his first title at the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz, meanwhile, picked a pet peeve that many of his fans would not be surprised by. \u201cThe clock, the time,\u201d revealed the Spaniard.<\/p>\n<p>The World No. 2 is often in conversation with umpires about the shot clock, which usually results in the Spaniard being penalised during matches.<\/p>\n<h2>Tennis players\u2019 \u2018pet peeves\u2019<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Ben Shelton \u2013 When a player takes a medical time-out when he\u2019s not injured<\/li>\n<li>Frances Tiafoe \u2013 When a player says sorry for hitting the net cord<\/li>\n<li>Aryna Sabalenka \u2013 Players that don\u2019t clean the practice courts<\/li>\n<li>Taylor Fritz \u2013 Players not allowing him to practice his second serves returns<\/li>\n<li>Emma Raducanu \u2013 When someone is serving really quick when I\u2019m needing to recover<\/li>\n<li>Jack Draper \u2013 Players taking too long<\/li>\n<li>Amanda Anisimova \u2013 Players shouting \u2018come on\u2019 too loud<\/li>\n<li>Alex de Minaur \u2013 Toilet breaks in matches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other players also took issue with time-wasting, with the likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/mirra-andreeva\">Mirra Andreeva<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/jack-draper\">Jack Draper<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/Alex-de-Minaur\">Alex de Minaur<\/a> calling out varieties of delaying matches.<\/p>\n<p>De Minaur questioned the validity of toilet breaks, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/ben-shelton\">Ben Shelton<\/a> called out medical time-outs for players he knows are not actually injured.<\/p>\n<p>That has, of course, been in the news recently, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tennis-news\/daniil-medvedev-issues-strong-complaint-about-jannik-sinners-conduct-in-rome\">Daniil Medvedev questioned Jannik Sinner\u2019s medical time-out<\/a> during their semi-final match at the Italian Open.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/Daniil-medvedev\">Medvedev<\/a> believed Sinner was taking a medical time-out for cramping, which is not allowed under the rules of the ATP Tour.
