\n\tThe new issue of Art in America<\/em>, ARTnews<\/em>\u2019s sister publication, features profiles of 20 \u201cNew Talent\u201d honorees selected by the editors as artists to watch. The list includes artists from all over the world and who work in different mediums, all of them emerging in their own ways.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Summer 2026 issue of Art in America<\/em> revisits the magazine\u2019s long-running \u201cNew Talent\u201d designation, which was initiated in 1954 and ran regularly in the magazine until 1966. The magazine relaunched the concept in the summer of 2021 and has continued it in the years since. Among the historically important artists identified as \u201cNew Talent\u201d in the early years are Helen Frankenthaler, Ellsworth Kelly, Donald Judd, Joan Mitchell, Norman Lewis, and Marisol. More recent honorees include Precious Okoyomon, Amanda Ba, Agnes Questionmark, and Lotus L. Kang.<\/p>\n \n\tProfiles of each of the artists are included in the print issue of the magazine and will be published online every few days in the weeks to come.
