Reigning 2025 Freeride World Tour champion Marcus Goguen<\/a> is looking to put cash directly into the pockets of the next generation of skiers.<\/strong> Through his training and coaching platform, Adrenaline Performance,<\/a> the 21-year-old Whistler native has launched the \u201cSend of the Year\u201d digital contest, offering a total of $1,000 in prize money to highlight unheralded big-mountain talent.<\/p>\n

The submission window is rapidly closing, with entries officially shutting tomorrow, May 21, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For Goguen, the motivation behind the contest is deeply personal, rooted in his own rise through the International Freeskiers & Snowboarders Association (IFSA) junior ranks and his explosive entry onto the world stage.<\/strong> The contest is specifically designed to bypass traditional gatekeepers and give anyone \u2014 regardless of their status or age \u2014 a platform to get noticed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe most insane clip I ever saw in a contest came from somebody nobody has ever heard of,\u201d Goguen shared on an Instagram post announcing the competition. \u201cWatching a complete unknown just blow everyone out the water is what made these contests so addictive. I was in every single one I could find just to put my name out there. And that\u2019s exactly why we\u2019re doing Send of the Year.
