The Alta-Bird season pass<\/a> sale has begun for the 2026-27 season, with adult passes priced at $3,048, a $130 increase from last season. <\/strong>The pass offers unlimited access to both Alta<\/a> and Snowbird<\/a> in Utah, giving skiers access to a combined 5,114 acres of terrain, 20 lifts, and 256 runs, with no blackout dates. The pass is one of Utah\u2019s most popular, and with an average of 548 inches of snowfall and a vertical drop of 3,240 feet, the two resorts continue to provide one of the best skiing experiences in North America.<\/p>\n

Over the past several seasons, ski pass prices have skyrocketed due to a multitude of factors.\u00a0<\/strong>Pandemic recovery, inflation, industry developments (Epic Pass and Ikon Pass controlling a majority of lift capacity in major ski states), and efforts to manage crowds have all contributed to the increase in pricing. These trends extend internationally as well, with resorts across the world experiencing increasing pass prices.<\/p>\n

This trend is likely to continue as the demand for passes remains high and resorts face increasingly expensive operating costs.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
