A big Game 1 atmosphere went poof.<\/span><span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span>Jalen Brunson got to work. He scored 15 in the fourth quarter, and New York went on an 18-1 run. It\u2019s so bad that Southampton players are <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/7292271\/2026\/05\/19\/southampton-championship-playoff-final-spygate\/\"><span>considering legal action<\/span><\/a><span> against the club.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Let\u2019s keep moving:<\/span><\/p>\n<hr>\n<h3><b>News to Know<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><strong><b>Rice gets jail time<\/b><\/strong><br \/>\n<span>Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is spending 30 days in jail for violating his probation, according to Dallas court logs, and will likely miss OTAs. The probation stems from his involvement in a high-profile car crash in Dallas two years ago. Some days produce multiple moments that are so delightfully odd that you have to write a whole section about them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Today is the latter, with three odds and an end:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Oddity No. 1: A little-league grand slam<br \/>\n<\/b><span>What a delightful concept that theoretically should never happen on an MLB field. And yet there was Nationals right fielder James Wood pulling it off in Washington\u2019s 9-6 win over the Mets yesterday.
