href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/french-open\">French Open<\/a> title a record 14 times during his glittering career, with the Spaniard asserting a never-before-seen dominance over the rest of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/atp-tour\">ATP Tour<\/a> on the dirt.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/rafael-nadal\">Nadal<\/a> was able to beat his top rivals time and time again in the French capital, but heading into the 2026 edition, Sinner\u2019s path to victory appears much less treacherous.<\/p>\n<p>Defending champion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/carlos-alcaraz\">Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> is injured, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/novak-djokovic\">Novak Djokovic<\/a>, who beat the Italian in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/australian-open\">Australian Open<\/a> semi-finals, has played just once on clay this season.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\">Sinner<\/a> is flying high at the top of the rankings, with the 24-year-old winning five straight Masters 1000 titles this year.
