Cheap, tiny electric cars are coming, and we\u2019ll see the first ones on European roads very soon. Stellantis \u2013 the buffet of automotive car brands \u2013 has today confirmed it plans on releasing its first \u2018E-Car\u2019 in 2028. That\u2019s just two years away.<\/p>\n

As if answering your immediate question, Stellantis said: \u201cThe \u2018E\u2019 in \u2018E-Car\u2019 stands for European, Emotion, Electric and Environmental friendliness.\u201d So, they should be\u2026 made in Europe, be fun to drive, be\u2026 electric, and efficient in production.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

TopGear.com told you back in March<\/a> that these new E-Cars will be restricted both in size and performance (making them cheaper), but will also do without the more expensive safety tech.<\/p>\n
