Or unless you are in Turkey or India.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Starting May 20, PlayStation Plus prices for new customers will increase in select regions,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PlayStation\/status\/2056404450793938989\">PlayStation announced in a post on X<\/a>. &#8220;Due to ongoing market conditions, prices will start at $10.99 USD \/ \u20ac9.99 EUR \/ \u00a37.99 GBP for 1-month subscriptions and $27.99 USD \/ \u20ac27.99 EUR \/ \u00a321.99 GBP for 3-month subscriptions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This price change does not apply to current subscribers (except in Turkey and India) unless the existing subscription changes or lapses.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Presumably, mention of &#8220;prices will start at&#8221; means we&#8217;re talking about the bottom, PlayStation Plus Essential tier, though I will try to clarify this. This subscription currently costs \u00a36.99 a month in the UK, so the price rises each month by one pound. The three-month price currently is \u00a319.99, so this rises by two pounds.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s no mention of whether this will affect the more expensive Extra and Premium tiers.<\/p>\n<p>PlayStation Plus Essential is the baseline offering designed to enable multiplayer play while giving you a small selection of free games.
