In news that\u2019ll surprise literally nobody, Pagani has reinvented its supernaturally desirable Zonda<\/a> again and\u2026 we are here for it. It does not matter that Pagani has reinvented its supernaturally desirable Zonda many, many times already, because it remains\u2026 yeah.<\/p>\n

This old-but-now-new-again Zonda is called the \u2018Cervino\u2019, and according to its (re)creators \u201cis a complete reimagining of the Zonda based on an existing chassis, meticulously crafted to fulfil the specific dreams of a visionary collector\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

So, it\u2019s a customer car extensively reworked via the \u2018Unico\u2019 programme to the tune of an entire new and fully bespoke body, \u201cwhere every curve and surface has been redesigned to reflect a unique aesthetic narrative\u201d. Pagani says it was inspired by \u2018alpine peaks\u2019. TopGear.com says: roof scoop and tasty rear wing.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, this Cervino’s been treated to an entirely new suspension setup with new dampers and \u201ctop tier\u201d componentry said to \u201cbridge the gap between the Zonda\u2019s analogue soul and modern performance standards\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We suspect such analogue goodness comes courtesy of a mighty, hearty and magnificently powered V12 (we\u2019re guessing the 7.3-litre naturally aspirated AMG unit?) but Pagani hasn\u2019t confirmed engine size, aspiration, power or torque. We do know it probably\u2026 won\u2019t be slow. So there\u2019s that.<\/p>\n

It\u2019ll be shown at the upcoming Fuori Concorso<\/em> alongside its sibling, another equally desirable Zonda C12S 7.0 (below). This<\/em> reanimated beast has been fully restored as part of Pagani\u2019s \u2018Rinascimento\u2019 programme, and we\u2019re told it was the first ever one-off in Pagani\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
