After seven weeks in theaters, Nintendo’s The Super Mario Galaxy Movie<\/a> will become available to own at home next week, via digital download, DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

You’ll be able to buy The Super Mario Galaxy Movie from retailers beginning next Tuesday, May 19, in a package with over an hour of special features included (though, sadly, no deleted scenes). <\/p>\n

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’s arrival for purchase comes as the film inches closer to earning $1 billion box office \u2014 though it’s looking less likely it will make it over the line. After six weeks in theaters, the film has totalled $942 million \u2014 still some way off of the $1.36 billion earned by Nintendo’s first The Super Mario Bros. Movie back in 2023.<\/p>\n

Still, the Galaxy movie has been a huge success versus its comparatively lean budget of $110 million \u2014 and that’s despite a mixed to negative consensus by critics, something which Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto said had taken him by surprise<\/a>. (IGN’s The Super Mario Galaxy review<\/a> returned a 6\/10 score.)<\/p>\n
