Big releases from the region have proven that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/how-black-myth-wukong-has-changed-the-game-for-chinese-developers\">developers there are more than capable at creating worldwide hits<\/a>, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/black-myth-wukong-continues-its-dominance-with-new-milestone\">Black Myth Wukong which shot past 10m sales across all platforms in short order<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An increasing number of Steam users are also Chinese. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/50-of-all-steam-users-in-february-were-chinese-speaking\">A March 2025 Steam user survey found that those using simplified Chinese on the platform increased by 20.88 percent<\/a>, reaching roughly half of all users.<\/p>\n<p>It would also come at a time when Xbox is sorely in need of an ace or two up its sleeve.
