Earlier today, Nintendo&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/personas\/shigeru-miyamoto\">Shigeru Miyamoto<\/a> took over the company&#8217;s X account to announce a new release date for the live-action Legend of Zelda film. Once scheduled for release on 7th May 2027, the Legend of Zelda film will now arrive on 30th April next year.  &#8220;The team is working hard to deliver the film to everyone as soon as possible,&#8221; Miyamoto <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Nintendo\/status\/2054683130624413850?s=20\">added<\/a>. &#8220;There&#8217;s less than a year to go until release, so thank you for waiting.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Filming for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/as-the-project-begins-production-it-looks-like-the-legend-of-zelda-film-is-following-in-lord-of-the-rings-esteemed-footsteps\">Legend of Zelda live-action movie took place in New Zealand<\/a>, and wrapped earlier this year. The film stars Bo Bragson as the titular Princess Zelda, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/nintendo-reveals-its-link-and-zelda-for-forthcoming-the-legend-of-zelda-film\">Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link<\/a>.
