Guess they weren\u2019t kidding with that \u201cOscars host for life\u201d sketch<\/a> at last year\u2019s show. Conan O\u2019Brien is officially back to host next year\u2019s Oscars, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences announced Tuesday. The 99th Annual Academy Awards<\/u><\/a> will be the third time that O\u2019Brien has hosted the ceremony\u2019s broadcast.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan will also return as the show\u2019s executive producers for the fourth consecutive year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled to be working again with Conan, Raj, Katy, Jeff and Mike for the 99th Oscars,\u201d Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Lynette Howell Taylor said in a statement<\/u><\/a>. <\/p>\n

The 98th Academy Awards<\/u><\/a> saw One Battle After Another win Best Picture and Michael B. Jordan received his first Academy Award as Best Actor for Sinners. The ceremony \u2013 which included the 7th tie in Oscars history<\/u><\/a> \u2013 was not without controversies, such as when the KPop Demon Hunters composer was abruptly played off<\/u><\/a> or the In Memoriam sequence omitting a slew of notable people<\/u><\/a> from the broadcast version.<\/p>\n
