The solution to this, <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/ninpatentswatch.bsky.social\/post\/3mlewl3kwm224\">as explained by Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa during the recent financial results presentation<\/a>, is &#8220;a robust software lineup to enhance the Switch 2 ownership value&#8221;. &#8220;We will work diligently to overcome this barrier,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;While we wanted to prioritise a wide adoption, it was challenging to bear the rising costs over a long period,&#8221; he added, alongside an apology to customers &#8220;for the considerable inconvenience and trouble this will cause&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Even if <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/pokemon-pokopia\">Pok\u00e9mon Pokopia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/tomodachi-life-living-the-dream\">Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream<\/a> are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/nintendo-expects-switch-2-sales-to-decline-year-on-year-but-still-pace-ahead-of-switch-1\">performing remarkably well<\/a>, there&#8217;s the question of how the rest of Nintendo&#8217;s 2026 first-party line-up looks like.
