Prime Video has confirmed that its hit Alan Ritchson action-drama Reacher has been renewed for a fifth season. The news arrives in the lead-up to the launch of the fourth season later this year.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

According to Prime Video, the third season of Reacher<\/u><\/a> reached 54.6 million viewers globally during its first 19 days on the service. The streamer reiterated this makes it the most-watched season on the service since the first season of Fallout over the same timespan.<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

No further details on Reacher Season Five were revealed, so it\u2019ll be anyone\u2019s guess on which Lee Child book will be adapted this time around. Ritchson has previously discussed his fondness for the second Reacher novel, 1998\u2019s Die Trying, but there are many others that remain particularly popular with readers. The series is not following the books in order.<\/p>\n

Reacher Season Four is based on the 13th novel in the series, Gone Tomorrow, which was published in 2009.<\/p>\n

For his part, Ritchson is coming off the back of Netflix hit War Machine<\/u><\/a>, and has a new film \u2013 Motor City, alongside Shailene Woodley, Pablo Schreiber, and Ben Foster<\/u><\/a> \u2013 arriving in cinemas in July. <\/p>\n
